    Product Description

    The FBT Jolly Series speakers feature lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet
    construction. Available in a black or white finish, the Jolly 5b/ Jolly 5w speakers modern cabinet appearance
    provides fixed installations with an elegant design that blends into any decor.
     With the use of  optional accessories, the Jolly 5b/ Jolly 5w speakers can be mounted on mic stands for many
    near field monitor applications: live sound and as a studio monitor.
    The FBT Jolly 5b/ 5w are of two-way design incorporating an 5.25” low frequency woofer and a 1” mylar diaphram
    dome tweeter.  Cabinet dispersion is 90°H x 90°V allowing for wide pattern coverage.
    The internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 3.5k. With a frequency range of 80Hz - 20kHz, the Jolly 5b/ 5w
    speakers provide hi fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 112 dB. A front
    face steel grille protects the speaker from external damage. FBT’s ADAP® Advanced Dynamic Active Protection
    circuitry protects speaker/driver components against failure. Jolly 5b, 5w are magnetically shielded for use along
    side video monitors.
    Ideal for small fixed installations, the FBT Jolly 5b, Jolly 5w speaker systems have an impedance of 16 ohms
    allowing Four Jolly 5 speakers to be utilized per channel, for a total of Eight Jolly 5b/5w speakers when used with
    a stereo power amplifier capable of operating at 2 ohms, thus eliminating the need in many cases for utilizing
    constant voltage 70v power amplifiers and constant voltage 70v speaker systems with line transformers that can
    degrade sound reproduction quality and also add additional cost to an installation.

    The two M-6 fly points built into the cabinets, along with the optional S/J 5u or S/J 5 mounting brackets allow the
    Jolly 5 speakers to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings. The S/J5c flange mount allows the Jolly 5 speakers
    to be flush mounted into either walls or ceilings. The S/J MSA Swivel Mount used along with the A/J 5 adapter,
    allows vertical or horizontal mounting with an adjustable tilt angle of Jolly 5 series speakers when placed on a
    tripod microphone stand for near field monitoring use.
    For portable or fixed use the Jolly 5 speakers can be mounted on mic stands by using the optional A/J 5  
    adapters for vertical mounting. The S/J 5u- U bracket when used along with the MSA 200 adapter kit, allows  
    horizontal mounting with adjustable tilt angling of Jolly 5b/5w speakers on a tripod microphone stands for near
    field monitoring use. Rear panel connections feature both a female 1/4" input jack and push pin terminal
    connectors which are internally connected in parallel providing various wiring options for the installer.
