The JTS TX- 2 Instrument Microphone solves the problem of effectively capturing low frequency sound sources such as kick
drums and bass guitar amplifiers. The contoured frequency response provides articulated bass output for kick drum
applications. The TX 2’s supercardioid pattern ensures an excellent gain-before- feedback ratio and the built in pneumatic
shock mount provides extreme isolation from other sound sources and undesired vibrations on or off stage and in studio
recording applications. With a maximum SPL rating of 170dB, the TX - 2 easily handles the SPL generated by low frequency
instruments: kick drums, tom - toms, percussion and bass guitar amps.
